What is the SGA? 

The FIT Student Government Association was established to uphold students' rights and have representation throughout the FIT community. The FIT SGA represents the student body's interests and strives to improve the lives and experiences of all students.

We collectively take on the responsibility of sustaining and fostering the college’s commitment to the students, providing and encouraging student representation, and enriching their cultural, social, and physical well-being.

What exactly does SGA do? 

The FIT Student Government Association advocates on behalf of the students, create and furthers student-based agendas, and lead new initiatives at FIT 

How can I get involved?

We are dedicated to serving as the leading voice for all students. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate— part-time or full-time, all your opinions, questions, and concerns are welcome.

How can I participate in SGA?

SGA has an election in the spring semester (we announce through email and social media when looking for candidates) and candidates have to spend at least 1 semester at FIT before running for the position.
